Thanks man, I'm glad I had the experience of using a nice SD setup but I think pretty soon it's gonna be time for an upgrade. Luckily when I end up selling it there are a few locals who are Def down with SD still, but I'll probably never miss having to deal with head glitching and dropouts

Probably going with an hvx200 with a panasonic gh2 for Fisheye until I can afford the 2000$ xtreme Fisheye

Fosho I upgraded from my trv-950 with a Canon 60D dslr, it was okay but still more of a headache working with extra settings and definitely missed the sd touches. If you or your area's guys ever film at night I'm selling my add-on camera light since I sold both my cameras.

Honestly I had a lot of trouble figuring out my setup. Dslrs seem so ergonomically wrong for everything long lens but hd camcorders only Fisheye option is multiple gs, so I'm going for the best of both worlds. As for on camera lights, I'm pretty much all good because my preference is to haul a couple work lights and get a bit more all around light
