Photo: Brandon MeansIf you know Dennis (or anyone from the MARKIT crew, for that matter) personally, there's a good chance you already know this. If not, Dennis Enarson has officially announced that MARKIT will be a denim company in a new interview on Defgrip.

Here's a quick excerpt from the interview -

"This is my first time saying this publicly, but it is going to turn into something much more then just a crew. MARKIT will be a Denim company focusing on making quality jeans. The first pair is amazing and I starting working on a second fit now. The two pairs of jeans, one skinny and one relaxed, will drop when the video is complete."

It's pretty clear that BMX lacks many legit clothing brands (brands that do more than just screen printson t-shirts) with roots in the sport and MARKIT looks to be a huge step in the right direction. I know Dennis has put a lot of time and thought into this and I can't wait to see the final result.

In addition to Dennis, the MARKIT crew is made up of Chad Kerley, Christian Rigal, Geoff Slattery, Mike Jonas, Rob Wise, Ronnie Napolitan, Connor Lodes, and Josh Harrington. Expect to see these guys rockin' MARKIT jeans in the near future.

Go read the whole interview. He talks about breaking his femur, his relationship with his parents, filming for videos, and a whole bunch of other interesting topics. Good read!

Didn't expect that either, but im stoked that Markit wont die out after Markit ZERO. They are such a quality crew and im glad that things will become more permanent.

Hope they bring out a set similar to Levi's 511's. They are the best jeans to ride in I've found. I just hope they are priced good over in the UK. £50 for a set of jeans is steep.
