John Povah = No Longer Etnies Team Manager

BMX lifer, rad dude, and long-time Etnies BMX bossman John Povah has formally parted ways with the brand. It appears that, in the short term, he will assist Etnies as a consultant, but only time well tell what his next official move is.

Povah took to Instagram to comment on the big change -

While with Etnies, Povah was instrumental in the creation of some of the biggest video releases in BMX history, as well as developing many of your favorite riders into household names. To say he made an impact would be a huge understatement.

Many pro riders (past and present) commented on Povah's departure -

"Etnies wouldn't be where it is without you. Love you, Povah." - Nathan Williams

"BMX wouldn't be the same, John. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" - Corey Martinez

"No Instagram comment can express what BMX and myself owes you." - KC Badger

"You're the man, Povah. Thanks again for everything you've done for me, Etnies, and BMX as a whole." - Christian Rigal

John Povah has a lifetime of experience in the BMX world and, most importantly, he's someone that riders want around. He'll be a huge asset wherever he ends up and I'm optimistic that we'll be hearing some good news from him sooner than later. Cheers, Povah!
