In BMX, there's a lot more to a pro spot than being incredibly good on your bike. I don't know the details here, but I'm sure it happened for a reason. Clint @ Colony is a smart dude who takes very good care of his riders.
Some potential reasons could be annual budget, already having a full team, overall brand exposure from the rider, amount of time with the brand, etc.
With that being said, I'm sure there will be all sorts of awesomeness from Colony and Liam in the near future. Congrats to Liam and Colony for this big step!
