Advances to Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals in Salt Lake City

Burr Ridge, Ill. – May 26, 2009 – Branden Kitsen won the BMX park competition Sunday at the Gatorade Free Flow Tour’s stop in Lakewood, N.J.

Seventeen-year-old Kitsen from Manahwkin, N.J. earned the victory at the Incline Club after executing a Superman off the pole jam and a cannonball over the spin during the final jam session. Mike Groff, who won last year’s Gatorade Free Flow Tour stop at Incline, was second and Vinny Mannino finished in third place.

“I’m best friends with Mike Groff, and he said the finals were so much fun last year,” Kitsen said. “I’m just so pumped right now. I wasn’t even going to come today, but I’m so glad I did.”

“We are big fans of the Dew Tour, so it is great to be affiliated with it through the Gatorade Free Flow Tour,” added Donna Cramer, owner of the Incline Club

With the win, Kitsen earns an automatic bid into the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals that will take place at the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 17-20, 2009.
