JANUARY 11, 2008- Sidewall Distribution, the exclusive distributor of Hoffman Bikes and SMPL BMX in the US, is pleased to announce the addition of Coalition BMX to its growing portfolio of leading BMX components, apparel and accessories for Independent Bicycle Dealers. "Coalition's attention to detail and artistic presentation is a unique welcome to Sidewall Distribution. We're grateful to have them on board," said Sidewall director Mark Owen.

Established in March of 2004 by former Tip Plus/Primo brand manager Greg Walsh, Coalition BMX is a high-end parts and accessories brand based in Rochester, NY. As part of the Mephisto Group, a consortium of businesses which includes Hell On Earth Clothing, Coalition Press, The Industry BMX Magazine and Rustbelt Skateboards, Coalition specializes in innovative handlebars, stems, front and rear hubs, sprockets, pegs, seats, seat posts, seat clamps, hub guards and grips, in addition to a wide range of clothing featuring exclusive art from luminary Rochester area graphic artist Aaron Burto. The brand boasts an eclectic and progressive team which features Joe Rich, Justin Inman, Sean Sexton, Lee Dennis, Joe Riley, Hanson Little, Brett Walker, George Ramirez and Corey Godfrey. New designs, including revised front hubs and stems, plus new pedals and tires, are currently in the research and development stages for Coalition.

"We would like to thank [Sidewall's] Mark Owen for giving us a chance to be part of Sidewall Distribution in 2008. Sidewall is a great fit for Coalition- we're both young companies working our hardest to do good things in BMX. Their location is ideal, as our presence is sporadic on the West Coast, and we're looking forward to working with a distributor who will make selling our brand a priority, not an afterthought," said Walsh.
