Las Vegas, Nevada – Dec. 20, 2006 – Schwinn's Dirt Jump legend, TJ Lavin, has been nice, not naughty this year, giving generously to Las Vegas Toys for Tots.

In fact, it’s become tradition with TJ, as every year he fills the bed of his full-size truck with toys for the kids supported by his local Toys for Tots.

TJ went even further this for the cause, lending his celebrity to a Vegas radio promotion. A friend of TJ's is a DJ Vegas radio station, so TJ went on the air and, thanks to some very caring people, helped to raise around 2,000 donated BMX bikes for the kids.

“We raised donations that resulted in 13 semis full of toys and 2,000 BMX bikes,” said TJ. “I give a minimum of one truck load and this year I gave four trucks of toys – I hope to increase that every year.

This past weekend TJ spent the afternoon with 50 foster home teenagers and gave them gifts – iPods, Schwinn bikes, Fox clothing, TJ’s DVD and a BBQ.

“I feel like I’m the luckiest guy in the world, and I keep giving back because it’s the right thing to do,” said TJ.

It’s going to be a great holiday for a lot of kids this year. Thanks for what you do TJ - you're a true champion.

When TJ’s not riding his bike he’s hosting MTV’s “The Duel” Real World/Road Rules Challenge. More information about TJ Lavin and new Schwinn BMX models is available at
