X GAMES 12 DONATED VERT RAMP FINDS A NEW HOME AT MISSION VALLEY YMCA KRAUSE FAMILY SKATE/BIKE PARK

The Mission Valley YMCA Krause Family Skate/Bike Park invites spectators, skateboard and BMX enthusiasts to Clash at Clairemont, the grand opening for the ESPN donated vert ramp from X Games 12.  Clash at Clairemont will feature autograph sessions, vert and pool demos, contests, food and raffle prize giveaways. Donated by ESPN’s X Games (with funding from Sobe for transportation), PacSun funded the reconstruction of this giant ramp, which is now the largest outdoor vert ramp on the West Coast.

“On behalf of ESPN X Games, we couldn’t be more happy to contribute our X Games 12 ramp to the Mission Valley YMCA and the action sports community,” said Tim Reed, X Games Director of Sports & Competition.  “The progression of action sports is important to the X Games and this is a great way to give back and encourage new participation and development.”

Admission to the event is $10 with proceeds benefiting “Grind for Life,” an organization that provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families.
