Great Bike

Rating:
The Good:

Just looks dope... I kept mine out of the sun [when not riding] and it still glows. I got a great price for complete. I ride on dirt jumps and the park- bowels ledges etc. I beat on it a bit locking into grinds and its still solid. I had it w brakes and they were A+. The overall ride was niccccceeeeee. Im the kinda person who just like to change the grips for fun and --- I never changed these grips- they were really nice in the hand. [I rate these as some of my very favorite grips] I have 7 spare grps in my house right now and LOVE the radio stock grips- I would buy these if they were not discontinued. Fun to just cruz on. I <3 this bike!

The Bad:

I dont like the white tires. think it looks bad... when I bought it I'm like I'm changing the tires - before it even arrived [I ride them after burning out an old pair and the white tires ride great/look bad. If they had been black it would have looked so much tougher.... also The tire size is limited. The handlebars come loose fairly often but I maintain it b4 each session so I always check the bolts. This is to be expected w my other bikes also. ------- I did not like the stock pedals- I landed on a dirt 1/4 on a small jump and my foot was on the pedal- I saw it slip off and the pedal got my leg real good. I changed to pedals w metal screws for more grip. - I think the stock pedals were too slippery and I was hurt pretty good. -- see pic on my profile. After swapping the pedals I've ridden much harder and feel very safe.

Overall Review:

I have a 2016 21" Radio Darko, neon yellow. I used to BMX / Freestyle when I was a kid and this was the bike I got back into the sport w. It was new / old stock and I got a great price. The overall ride is DOPE<3!! Love it. Fun just to ride. I've been drit jumping and in koncrete park w this. I have been putting it through its paces getting my old tricks back. Im not pro but Ive been coming down on it pretty hard on some landings for a while now and its still feels great. I <3 riding in bowels and the park. super fun. Im 6" 178lbs and its like a perfect size for me. Ive had a few bmx bikes over the years, I currently have this and a wethepeople and they don't feel too different in terms on quality. WTP is def better but the radio is kinda close. I have a few bikes in my garage, some are way more expensive than this and if I go out dirt jumping w a friend I let them choose what bike they want to ride. I hope they won't choose the Radio cuz I want it! Great job Radio.
