I love this bike
It feels and rides smaller than it is. There's lots of room but it's still easy to throw around. Very comfortable smooth ride.
The stock tires are terrible for anything other than dirt. The propeller brake pads suck balls. Horrible. They squeal like a pig no matter what you do with the toe in and you are either in useless squealing pig but not stopping mode or locking up the wheel.
This bike is a lot lighter than I thought it would be. The way bikes are made now is way different than how they were overbuilt when I was riding 20" bikes all the time. I bought this thing to ride with my kid and I take to race tracks, pump tracks, skateparks and all over town. It's pretty easy to bunny hop, the gearing is perfect, it's easy to throw around and it's very comfortable to ride.
The stock tires and brake pads kinda suck so I replaced the tires with KRADs and the brake pads with black mountain bike pads. They don't squeal like a pig and they work perfectly. I also didn't like the seat but its not a bad seat, I just have a big ass and wanted wider seat. The bars are pretty nice for stock complete bars but I replaced those with some 9.25" Demolition Rig bars. Nothing wrong with the stock bars, I'm just tall and like tall bars.
I would recommend the Atlas to anybody that wants a nice cruiser. It's a really fun bike to ride and it seems really well made. I'd change the tires and pads right away if I bought another one but those are the only really bad things about it. All the other changes I made were just personal preference.
