Price...that's the only thing

The Bad:

Everything else

Overall Review:

I was low on cash on my last build. Saw them and thought I would run them for 3months and then have the money for Profiles (my cranks of choice). 1 week, they kept getting loose at the pinch bolt. Put some really good thread lock on the bolts and they seemed ok.

2 weeks, constantly creaking. Took them apart and didn't see anything at first. The issue was small, but no fixable. The spindle was just a mm or so too small so the crank arm creaked under load. That's a manufacturing error but for the price I didn't call.

4 weeks, cracked the non drive arm at the pinch bolt. I am pretty smooth but I do alot of gaps and high ledges.

I took them off and barrowed a set of SNFU cranks off a friend. Bought my Profiles 2 weeks later.

My .02 cents is this:

If you are just starting they will be ok for awhile. If you are on the heavy side 180+, if you get some check often for stress cracks by the bottom bracket. Everyone else, Salt Plus cranks are $20 more on eBay and they hold up well. And have no dumb pinch bolts that I have (and still don't) have any luck with.

2 stars only because I hope my set was a manufacturers mistake, on the crank arm and spindle difference at least. And for a rider just starting they should be ok for awhile and allow you to save money for better cranks.

Hold on i have to fix my cranks

The Good:

They are cheap and colorful. You can probably find a friend that is giving them away

The Bad:

They are cheap and low quality. They come loose so you tighten them more. Then you get the standard broken spindle bolt look.

Overall Review:

I would not recommend for any riding. They are sketcky at best. The price reflects the quality.

great cranks

The Bad:

paint chipped away, a little heavy

Overall Review:

first off, i love these cranks, i would totally recommend these to anyone looking to go from 1 piece cranks to 3 piece. i would totally buy these cranks again. the ony reason why i havnt yet is because they are not broken.
