Great For Ruben. Not For Me

The Good:

It's Rubens Frame
It's a Terrible One Frame
At the time, the price.
Very Light.

The Bad:

Spanish BB.
The BB made it hard for the drive train to line up.
Chain Stay Brake Mounts

Overall Review:

I bought the frame specifically because it was a Ruben T1 frame. At first site it was perfect. The specs were great. The weight wasn't an issue. The problems started when I saw the spanish BB. I never had one and knew nothing about them. I didn't know finding a set of Spanish Bearings is rarer than a Mew (Pokémon reference). Luckily Empire is stocked up on them. But it was also weird because the BB shell was a little off compared to the chainstay so the perfect drive train wasn't possible. I could live with it though because Rubens name was on it. Then the day came when I decided I wanted brakes. NOOOOPE! I forgot how tight you have to run your chain to do chainstay brakes. To be honest, this is just personal preference and the frame was still great for the short time I had it before I switched it up. I know now the newer version has a mid BB and I currently ride the T1 Skapegoat and I love it... minus the brake mounts. I would say get it.
