The Good:

Awesome shoes. Tough, grippy with good feel. A+ quality, best shoes on the market hands down

The Bad:

Nothing i can think of

Overall Review:

I love these shoes. I have been wearing ScG for the last few years and its all i will buy now. Great to ride in, plenty of feel and grip and they just last for ages. Plus its a small rider owned company, and we need to support those

Great quality, obviously made by riders

The Good:

The sole is the perfect thickness for good pedal feel. With the leather version (they also have regular suede) they are a little more burly and protective, if that is what you are after. Top Quality for sure.. Insole is the same as the last few years and they are great. Dont pack down even after months of riding. Vents on the sides are like small pores... instead of using mesh or something that breaks down easily. All natural materials tend to form to your foot, and breathe better than they look.

The Bad:

The laces are kinda short so it sometimes makes it hard to tie. The leather actually holds the laces in place really well, so the shoe fits like a glove. But if you're in a hurry and only do a half assed job..then you'll be doing it again soon.

Overall Review:

The soles are the souls of these shoes! They are thick but not too thick. They're custom rubber. And they are stitched ALL the way around with thicker thread than normal. I have actually bought 4 pairs over the last several years... and not a single one had thread come out. Start them out as a shoe for around town, then when they get beat up there I start riding in them haha! The tread is great-- it looks like standard herringbone like youd see on a shoe from the mall... but it is actually made just for pedal pins. The herringbone is much thicker, so it doesnt wear down as fast or get torn by your pedals.

There seems to be a bit more padding around the angle and inside foot (where crank arm would hit.) Same great insoles that don't flatten out after a month. They were actually exactly the same after 6 months! Quality Quality Quality. great price for these puppies for sure.

They do run kinda small to begin with, so at first you think you got a 1/2 size too small. I kinda freaked at first, since I didn't want to send em back right away. Luckily, they form to your foot in less than a week. But it's tight for the first week for sure.

I asked and found out that the individual pieces that make up the shoe comes from all over the world--- glues from europe, leather from south america, metal from japan... and the list goes on. It's like a high end complete bike... crazy.

Suuuuuper stoked.
