Diamondback

  • The Good:

    just about everything

    The Bad:

Plastic pedals, slightly on the heavy side

Overall Review: you can't beat this bike for the price, most bikes in this price range a barely a step up from a wal-mart mongoose, this has very nice features and is tough. If you need a bike thats lighter and this tough your gonna need to add at least another $100 to your budget.

  • The Good:

Not a walmart bike, cheap, frame is still good after 3 years

    The Bad:

Hi ten steel, heavy (it is a racing bike), not attractive (down tube is big), rims are single walled and back rim bent on me. worst bike owned, have had a walmart mongoose.

Overall Review: Okay for cruising around your town, dont take it on too big of jumps.

  • The Good:

    love the geometry
    strong
easy to jump with i feel some kind of telepathic connection with this frame. lol

    The Bad:

not the lightest in the world. (big f**cking deal guys. stop being weight fags.) people constantly talk shit to me for riding a diamondback. -___-

Overall Review: When Diamondback first came onto the scene back in 1978, they came, they saw, and they conquered. When Raleigh bought rights to the Diamondback name, it all went downhill from there, resulting in today's riders looking at Diamondback as a sh*tty brand. This frame marks the beginning of a HUGE come...

  • The Good:

frame, forks, cranks, rims, grips, detangleris smooth, headset smooth

    The Bad:

front axle and bearings had to be replaced a couple times, had replace bar after awhile, somewhat heavy but who cares

Overall Review: its my first bike and i freaking love it been riding it for 2 years nothing major has gone wrong with it

  • The Good:

It is a pretty comfy ride and it isn't too heavy.

    The Bad:

Probably not good for hard riding, steel frame, 1-piece cranks, etc.

Overall Review: My pal got it for 50$ at a used sporting goods store, and I think he pick up a great cruising bike for a killer deal. I'd pay 100$ max for a bike like this and transform it into a custom as parts gradually broke.. Ran it brakeless, pretty fun ride.

  • The Good:

tires, handle bars, seat, and grips.

    The Bad:

    cranks, sproket, pedals.

Overall Review: its a good all around bike and it is one of diamondback's lighter bikes. i just suggest to buy better pedals, a smaller sproket, and new cranks.

    The Bad:

Heavy, a lot of parts suck

Overall Review: I wouldnt recommend it as anything more than a starter bike

  • The Good:

    smooth riding
    decently durable

    The Bad:

    most of the parts

Overall Review: I bought this bike from a local pawn shop about 2 months ago, not knowing anything about it, i payed $85 for it. the bike started out at 30 lbs and was also very small, which was a huge problem for me. i ended up taking the brakes off, cutting the seat post, took of the gyro, replaced the seat, a...

  • The Good:

The bike is nearly Indestructible. Frame is strong. Cranks can take a beating.

    The Bad:

It is heavy. Like almost 35 pounds heavy. Stem Slips. Chain snapped.

Overall Review: Its good for big jumps as in the frame and forks. Heavy. Overall it is a decent beginner bike. there are better bikes out there but not a bad buy.

  • The Good:

it has nice grips and lightweight

    The Bad:

    handlebars, frame

Overall Review: handlebars basically stripped, i put a ramp on the sidewalk, right before i was about to jump i realized it would slide so i tried to get around it ,my peg caught the ramp and it flipped my bike over and i put my 125 pounds on the handlebar. the handlebars went foreward. me being stupid didnt loo...

  • The Good:

decent parts, oddesey cable, shadow belter tyres, alination pivotal seat post, shadow chain!

    The Bad:

    slighty heavy

Overall Review: i'm going to say that this bike is pretty awesome, the weight is slighlty diasipointing but iother than that it's great, it's a bike it rides! ;)

    Posted by dbmenace2010 on 3/26/2011 4:50 AM

  • The Good:

    Strong Frame, good begginers bike.

    The Bad:

Yellow, 28lbs without pegs. Im pushing 30 with redline pegs on the right side, 44tooth sprocket, I had to make some serious mods to make pegs work on the front side including switching the wheel and grinding the peg.

Overall Review: It's okay when you start, but when you start getting better and your friend rides a we the people then your bike is shit.

  • The Good:

full chromoly frame, fork, bars, and tubular 3 piece cranks. blacksheep rims. k rad tires. wide bars. replacable pin pedals. price.

    The Bad:

loose ball bottom bracket. average grips & brake. heavy seat & post. gearing is possibly a little tall. not much tire clearance.

Overall Review: if you're interested in a 24" bike, the lucky 24 is by far the best value for the money. full chromo on everything. comes in at about 30 pounds, with plenty of things that you could replace and get it down to mid 20's. off the start i'd change the seat & post, and bottom bracket. loose ...

  • The Good:

    Affordable
    Durable
Nice components for it's price range

    The Bad:

    Heavy
    Not an integrated headset
Bottom bracket uses cups instead of sealed bearings

Overall Review: Excellent choice for an entry level BMX bike, or for a second bike you just want to beat the snot out of. I weigh 180 and I have rode this bike hard all summer. Holds up well to all kinds of abuse, with one exception. I broke the brake one day, simply by grabbing the lever too hard. I think i...

    The Bad:

maybe just the forks.4130 crap-oly just put some f@#$!kn carbon forks on it already, u know that is what is going to go on it.
