  • Mutiny Rune Frame

    Amazing Frame (product review)

    The Good:

    -paint
    -geo
    -look
    -everything
    -tapered everything

    The Bad:

I can't afford one in every colour

Overall Review: Best thing i have ever bought, perfect geo, feels amazing, solid, looks bombproof. oh and the seat post just needs to be cut as the seattube is tapered

Posted by BourkeyBmx on 12/29/2012 6:17 AM

  • The Good:

    -Geo
    -Look
    -Integrated clamp
    -Gussets
-Fits a 2.25 Aitken P-lyte which is pretttty big.
    -EVERYTHING

    The Bad:

-My FBM post wouldn't go past an inch and a half into the seat tube, and the post was 7" long, so I had to buy a new one because of the tapered seat tube.
-Paint scratches and scuffs easily but I like my bike to look like I use it, since I do.

Overall Review: I've never really heard bad about any Mutiny stuff, and I've always loved their edits, so I thought why not get this. I immediately fell in love with the look, and soon the feel of it. The geometry is perfect for street and park, SUPER good for spins and tech stuff. Nose manuals are a breeze wit...

  • The Good:

Super strong. I've thrown this bad boy countless numbers of times and still not a single thing wrong with it, not including the amount of riding I do everyday. Diggin the top and downtube gussets. Super clean look, I like the fact that it has tapered tubing and also an ovalized downtube. Pretty dope shit. The price is reasonable considering the frame kicks ass, plus it's a Randy Taylor sig. so you already know this thing is fuckin sick.

    The Bad:

Nothing yet. I've had it for about half a year and not a single problem at all. I love it.

Overall Review: I give this frame two thumbs up and a big "FUCK YEAH!" A definite must have if you ask me. Ride in Peace Randy, you're a fucking legend.

  • The Good:

Its strong AF, I have thrown the thing , came down on it hard a couple times 3ing a 7 and landed back first and the thing is still going strong, great frame , I would recommend it , also a bit cheaper than an S&M but works great !!!!

    The Bad:

Nothing , love it, hasn't let me down.

Overall Review: Best frame by far I have ridden , I chose it over the BTM cause Randy Talor is a BEAST!!!

  • The Good:

Nice and light with a great geometry. Feels at home at skateparks and on dirt. The 21.2 TT combined with the short back-end makes it nimble and great for manuals but still roomy enough for long legs and wider bars.

    The Bad:

I'm yet to find a negative with this frame. If I had to pick something, one of the welds isn't perfectly neat, but the weld isn't done badly, it's just not flawless.

Overall Review: The frame is built up with mostly Mutiny parts. I've used the frame, stem, forks and sprocket and they all went together perfectly. I worked in a bike shop for a year and this build was one of the smoothest and tightest I've built. That's always a good sign. The frame is light yet feels solid, ...

  • The Good:

awesome geometry short cs length is the best and 75 degree ha is perfect!
    great colours
    randy taylor is the man!

    The Bad:

short cs isnt so good if you have big feet and still want to run pegs haha
    the v3 is out now

Overall Review: best frame ive ridden yet! way better than my prievious fly tierra v3 and v4 and wtp envy get the v3 if possible as it has extra gussets otherwise this is a sick frame you wont regret it
